There are reports, of questionable veracity, that 72 year old Morgan Freeman is set to marry his 27 year old step-granddaughter E'Dena Hines after a 10 year relationship. Hines is the granddaughter of Freeman's first wife. I'm not going to say whether this is true or not but, rather, I want to deal with the larger topic. Is it socially acceptable for members of a blended family that are not blood-related to have a romantic relationship?
